I do a lot of my own mechanic work so a lift was always in my plans. The carpets are for walking around vehicles. Usually the Mach is on the hoist with my daily driver under it. Where the Mach is parked is my trucks stall and the third is for my wifes unit. The windows in front of the hoist along with the door go to another part of the garage where i have TV, stereo, tools ect.

Lifts here are very cheap, so a lot of people who are into tinkering with cars will have them. Come to think about it that four of my neighbors have one. I do not have one yet, my plans changed but I plan to get one in the next year.

Nice garage. I am considering getting a lift but would probably need to reconfigure the garage door tracks on that bay. Similar to what I see on yours, can you have a car on the top of the list and open that bay door?

YES. What I did was measure the dummy panel size with the opener at the roof. Mine was about 21 inches. I made a panel from wood and painted it. Then i had to get longer cables made (existing + 21 inches) and added a piece of track. This allows me to park my Mach on the lift with my Honda civic under it. I can open and close my door no problem. I did lots of planning and measuring before this lift went in, all this was no accident.

PS My floor to roof height is 130 inches.
