Today my shop remodel project turned a major corner. For the past couple of moths I have been building a 8' x 30' storage loft across the back of the building. I also insulated the back wall, covered it with 7/16" OSB, painted, and also installed a 3.5 ton heat pump.
This morning my good friend **** Valenzuela came by and we moved my mill into final position. Working together with some lengths of steel pipe and a pinch bar we were able to walk it about 40' in 1' steps. It took us about an hour and 15 minutes.

Tomorrow I will position the lathe, belt sander and drill press. Then I will spot the outlets and run a 220 and a 110 circuit in face mounted conduit.
The white and gray painted walls will have a dividing band made out of 1/4" luan plywood painted dark gray. Masking tape does not work very well on OSB. The paint bleeds under.
Eventually all four interior walls will receive the same treatment. But for now, I need to get everything properly sorted and turn my attention back to my first love; building hot rods.
