So we just got this home in March 2016. I have been seriously hindered by a shoulder injury and required surgery. Things are finally getting better with it after a year and a half of issues(2 surgeries and 11 months of physical therapy). We now have baby #3 on the way (it's a boy!) the other two are sweet little girls aged 5 and 7.
Anyways, we got started on cleaning out and redoing my 26x48 pole-barn.
Unfortunately, my previous phone with all the major "before" photos is gone, so now I only have the mid-progress pictures. So please bare with me on slow progress (shoulder issues), my fathers busy schedule, lack of funds, and lack of documentation. I also have a tendency to get sidetracked.....
First thing is the ridiculous ceiling treatment... Some reason they decided to lay the 2x4's on their side, not 16" on center with hangers.
Ceiling the way I want it done on my budget. Its only R-13 insulation, but I just want it to be able to maintain a comfortable temp during the winter months here in Michigan.
The walls are being done the same way, just gotta wait until the bank account opens up a bit. Right now with me being off work, and all the expense going into the baby supplies and nursery. This dad has to hold out for a bit.
Comment and suggestions are always welcome, I appreciate honesty a lot more than having life sugarcoated. Thanks for looking, have a good one!
