How about a forum set up just for user to show off their projects/work? There's a Garage Gallery. They seem to be interspersed throughout several different ones.

It used to be we had vehicle projects in Free Parking. Most got moved to fabrication due to the rubbish posted in Free Parking. Some Vehicle projects also appear in the Gallery section as on going part of the building.

If you have a project consider what section it belongs in. If say you build a wood heater then post it in the heating section of the forum.

If you are Fabricating something say as an example trailer or car parts then post it in the Fabrication section of the forum.

We have a fab section, but maybe adding a "wrenching" section would be good? Could cover anything people are fixing rather than making, as well as mechanical questions. Might keep the general and tool boards a bit cleaner.

Much of it comes down to thinking before you post. Many topics get posted in the wrong sections of the forum.

You only have to look below this topic to see what has been moved.

Really, "have to be". Maybe in a perfect world, but not on this forum.

Some times they are deleted as spam. New posters posting in the wrong section of the forum with something like that not in the correct place or multiple posts all over the forum.

I'm talking about senior members. They just figure, rightly so, that they can post anywhere they want.
