Propane/Griddle 1000Sq Ft Retirement

I don’t know what section I should post this question, my apologies in advance.
I’m getting close to point I need run 3/4 black pipe for my tankless, stove,dryer and out to my back porch where my griddle will be located. All black pipe will be pressure check since it be ran in walls. Going run 3/4 pipe to exterior wall of back porch where griddle will be setting. I want to be able to valve off propane right at the regulator that’s connected by rubber hose to griddle. My question is, is there some kind of recess box that fit in wall with valve and correct fittings for regulator so that all this won’t be sticking out so far? Something that doesn’t look like DIY installed it but good plumber. Thanks for suggestions,pics, links etc

I’m no propane expert so take this with a grain of salt.

When I connected my propane Wolf gas grille to the propane service at my last house, I did not need to use the regulator it came with as the house gas pressure (inches WC) were the same as what the grill required. I think this is rather common occurrence.

That looks like a pretty good solution, but I wonder if there's one that has a flip-up cover so it looks better when not in use.

Some folks like timers on the connected gas equipment so after too many libations, they don't forget to turn off the gas to the connected grill, griddle, etc.

These are not ment to be used outside. They are for behind a range so the pipe doesn’t stick out of the floor.

A “gas convenience outlet” is what your looking for.

This is a basic version.

The timer larry4406 listed isn’t a bad idea either.

Just a few weeks ago I had a customer run out of gas, one burner valve on their grill had been on, but not lit, for about two months.

Two years ago we had another customer complaining about abnormal high gas usage and upon arriving that cold snowing Jan day to do a leak check we found the grill on the back patio going (lit) with 4 or the 6 burners on, just as the left it on the last cook out on Labor Day.

It also protects from failed rubber hoses which I have found on pressurized grills in garages while responding to “I smell gas” calls.

For those reasons, if I proceed with my outdoor covered bbq space I will have timers.

Wow, awesome information with strong caution. Now have better idea what to search for. With these links I believe have my answer. I can do away with regulator at griddle (check with local propane guy) get timer for that piece of mind and the shut off valve to connect griddle hose to. And both of these are made for outdoors
