Propane heater vent / chimney

I've got a 65,000 BTU propane heater that I'm going to hang in one stall of my shop for heat. It's the type of square hanging heater, ROUGHLY 2 feet square, maybe a little bigger that is run on propane, has a fan and hangs from the ceiling. It is an older heater, NOT high efficiency.

My local propane guy told me NOT to vent the exhaust out the sidewall of the building (even though that would be way easier for me). He said put an elbow on the back of the heater, and exhaust it UP through the ceiling and roof. My question is what kind and size of exhaust / chimney pipe?

I've located some used Simpson Duravent TRIPLE wall stainless steel chimney that was previously used to vent a ceramic kiln. It is 6" inside diamter. Can I use this for the chimney on my propane hangning furnace? Guessing that from the bottom of the heater to thru the ceiling till the chimney exists the roof would probably be about 6-7 feet of verticle run, then another 2' of verticle when the chimney exits the roof, so total chimney length from exiting the heater to chimney cap outside is probably 10 feet, MAYBE 12' at most.

Is the Triple wall stainless pipe OK for that propane heater? Is the 6" inside flue size appropriate?

Related Question: I need an elbow to transition from the hanging furnace to the chimney pipe. Should this be a triple wall elbow (is there such a thing??), or what kind of elbow do I use? The furnace, and hence the elbow, will hang fairly close to the wall.

Thanks for any info. I've done internet searches, but I keep finding wood stove info.

Can you locate a manual for your heater online?
Probably goes over venting methods.

I'm a big fan of instructions, in my diy stuff and professional. I always follow manufacturers recommended methods for warranty & liability.

Im thinking the venting you plan to use is not suitable. You'll probably need a b vent system
