I paid $2.96/gal a month ago for a fill. 280 gallon tank, I own it.
I use a pellet stove for heat most of the time, the cost is about half of running the LP furnace.
When Pacific Graft & Extortion went to the multi-tiered "over baseline" pricing a couple of years ago, I received an electric bill that was double the $$ of the same month the previous year. The Kwh billed were almost exactly the same.
I was not happy.
At least the plan to require utility-controlled thermostats in residences has fallen through...for now. Talk about "Big Brother"...
