What are the parts called in the picture? Pretty sure I am right hub on the left, bearing in the middle and bearing housing on the right. My boss wants to call them a flange on the left, bearing, and hub on the right.

Left to right

Hub, Bearings, Wheel bearing flange or wheel bearing carrier. All together, assembled a wheel bearing assembly

My 2¢

This is just a pic I got off internet. Car in questing is a Ford escape. The bearing presses into the trailing arm assembly which is the part we need, boss ordered a hub.

There is a reason a service manager is supposed to stay in the office, because they are supposed to manage the dept. If he was an expert with cars he should be a shop foreman.

But like what the others have said, hub, bearing, housing. I surprised the parts dept didnt pull up a diagram of the parts break down of the assembly.

I dont work at a dealership. Independent shop owner is "service manager". He has one other person that helps him with customers and parts. Supposedly he worked on cars for a living, I find that harder to believe every day.lol
