Is a good Insulation for block walls an wood frames?
What's the r-value? 1/2"
Is it good for around water an moisture areas?
Can I double layer it to get 1" double side foil
Will it keep my heat in more than a leaking cold block wall?
Will screws stay set inside of it without ripping threw on ceiling?
Is it water resistance?
How good is it compared to 1/2 Iso foam board?
What is a good adhesive for glueing liquid nails?

Attaching anything to the inside of concrete walls in a wash bay is a bad idea. Just take the hit of slightly higher heating costs or start washing cars outside.

I think you are using the foam improperly.

Yes, you can double layer it. The R-value accumulates. R of 5 per inch is the accepted figure for EPS and even XPS, polyiso does better but it is much more expensive.

You are supposed to cover the foam with something for fire safety. Turns out that it likes to burn and when it burns it releases nastiness that kills quickly.

They sell foam board adhesive at the hardware store. Not too expensive.

Moisture doesn't hurt foam but UV can degrade it.
