I had service ran out to the garage, a couple years ago underground

The exposed conduit, junction box discoloring, plastic almost turning brown Inspots

Doesn’t really look like it’s going to last forever at this pace they are both in full sun most of the day. That probably needs painted or coat with something just plastic paint or is there something more specific?

Thanks

For whatever reason the 3" LB at camp looked pretty brown/dry.

I hit it with a can of tan Painters touch last fall, I'll have to look at it again in a few weeks but looked fine when I cleaned up last spring.

When I did my pool deck 20 yrs ago, I came out of the ground with 3/4"pvc for recepts secured to the fence. I had pre-painted the pvc boxes with black Rustoleum Plastic paint for outdoor furniture. The boxes and covers were scuffed up with steel wool and cleaned with mineral spirits. Then hit with 3 coats of spray paint, light scuffing in between coats. Conduit sockets of the boxes weren't painted so the future glue application wouldn't be compromised.

I bent the conduits to fit, cut to length, and repeated the above procedure. They looked real good for 15 yrs against my black fence. Took me 5 yrs to motivate for a re-paint. They look real good again! I used the Painter's Touch to re-coat after washing and light scuffing. I used a satin finish to provide a little better dirt resistance.

I didn't use a clear coat but that could have helped. Check with paint mfr for compatibility.
