Protection for wires passing through pri-outs?

Hiya,
I'm mounting metallic boxes in an adobe wall. Using boxes similar to the Raco 512's (http://www.hubbellcatalog.com/raco/...M=RacoBoxes&P=12842,11465,11467,1313,9208,982). The box comes with clamps internal to the box. So my question is whether there is any protection needed where the wires pass into the box through the pri-outs at the top/back corner? I suspect the answer is yes but not sure what to use given these priouts are not round. Is there a specific product I should be looking for?

The boxes you have are designed for Romex cable. the cable will pass thru at an angle and be retained inside by the screw and plate. You should have the romex sleeve extend 1/4 to 3/8 inch beyond the plate inside. No, the cable does not need any further protection. It cannot move and will not be damaged by the edges of the oval hole thru which it passes.

DO NOT run loose wires, such as THHN, into this box, it has to have Romex.

I too would be looking at boxes and conduit.

Thanks guys. So no further protection. I can handle that. Code here for adobe is UF so that's what I'm using. Been done this way forever without issue.
