I got a very good deal on a new FP-723 3/8" ANGLE IMPACT on e-bay. My old one lasted 15 years and was a good overall wrench. These wrenches don't seem too popular anymore, but I really like them a lot, and after 30 years have gotten used to the "feel" of this type of wrench

I'm looking for a source of protective boots for this type of angle head impact. Florida Pneumatic only has the rubber nose covers, but I know there are plastic protectors that cover the entire head of the wrench.

Does anyone know of a source for these covers. I've googled and called several vendors all morning without much luck.

Damn, I swear, you can find anything!

Darn right -- thanks Merkava_4, that was a good link. I e-mailed Norm and he did say that he used to make the covers, but that he had to see if he still has the molds.

I'm guessing that he can make these things in small batches -- he'll have to get back to me though.

Seems like a great guy to do business with --
