Anybody know of a set of Protective Lug Nut Sockets in 3/8" drive? I want to use them with my new Bosch PS82. Yeah I have a set in 1/2" drive but do not want to use a 3/8" to 1/2" adapter. TIA

Amazing 3 days and no replies. Guess there are no 3/8 drive protective lug nut sockets. Sounds like a hole waiting to be filled.

i think its because that tool would be totally useless at removing lugs. so in the mean time just use an adapter lol

You're Bosch only delivers 85ftlbs so its probably not going to remove a lugnut regardless. There have been other threads on this topic and AFAIK there aren't any.

As they said above your bocsh 3/8 won't remove a well tightened lug but at all it wasn't designed to. You must have a 1/2 for that duty. I'm not knocking Bosch on any way but the impacts they make are not really for cars but more for lag bolts and woof working and other non automotive applications. I use my makita impact to work on my car. I got a Matco 1/2 for heavy work and it puts out 10 times what your bocsh can do.

It is definitely a product that has its place. I rarely use a half inch drive for lug nuts. I haven't for several years.
