Those wrenches are great looking and feel great too. The only downside is that, they aren't made anymore so, a warranty replacement wouldn't happen. However, I doubt if you would break one.

Proto wrenches are one of the often overlooked sleeper wrenches that people forget about or don't make the effort to find; it's a damn shame really.

are they comfortable? The beam looks about the same as most other combo wrenches to me, which I usually don't find that comfy.

Elroy thanks you for posting this up. For curiosity sake Elroy is going to keep an eye on this sale. Too bad these aren't metric as Elroy would love to have a "book end" pair.

I was going to point out a seller on ebay who has had some metric 500's for sale for a really long time. I checked the auction again and realized they are T-500's, so they are not the same. I guess these are the newer style.

More importantly, he only had limited sizes, not whole sets. At one point, he had 10-12-14-17-19 which, for me, are the only sizes I use on my corolla! I thought it was weird coincidence, but never bought any of them.

I'm not sure about the 500s but I know all my Proto wrenches have a nice wide rounded beam profile which to me is very comfortable.
