I never grabbed anything super hard with them......certainly not harder than the teeth which RC about 55 or so(I've punched some).I'm just a welder and need fast and smooth operation.I could see maybe twisting a punch in a punch press might roll those teeth ? Dunno. Another try on another dayJunk! Teeth wear out quickly. I had several pair replaced from snap on. Chucked them in the scrap pile. Garbage in my opinion
The deal is back on Amazon. I'm not sure why these are half the price of the smaller, long nose version. But I'm very happy with the fit an finish on mine.
These Spanish Protos weigh at least 50% more than the cheap chinese versions I had already. Might have to buy another set to keep the car just in case.
