I have a former student of mine who works in a pawn shop and told me he had something for me to take aloof at. It was two Proto socket sets. They were the 3/8 33 piece set and the other was the 25 piece 1/4 set. The 3/8 set was never used and the other was slightly used. However, each had initials lightly engraved on everything. They told me I could get both for a total of $200 out the door and I believe I could get them for a total of $175. I really don't need it but it seems like a deal. Thought?

I sort of can't deal with other people's engraving, or my own any more for that matter.

I would pass. Way overpriced and engraving is just turn off in and of itself.

For some reason, people think used Proto socket sets are made of baby Jesus tears and price as such.
