I was thrilled to find this Proto hammer puller, but it's missing the threaded collar that tightens the "fingers." I bought it anyway, thinking it would be a lathe project. But I am not able to find a decent photo of the missing piece. If anyone has one of these (or similar) could you please post up a photo of the missing collar? It must have a 45° chamfer around the forward face.
I have not been able to find a replacement collar sold separately at this point, but maybe one of you fellers what is smarter than I, would know how to obtain a replacement. Notice I actually need TWO of these collars if I want both operational, as pictured. (One would have a larger internal thread than the other.) I'd settle for one, as I can just change out the fingers as needed.
You can just see the missing piece in the photos below, but they're too small to make out just how they work or what their shape is.
