Sorry no pictures, I don't own a smart phone.

I was at an ollies outlet bargain in 16601 zip code and ran across a small assortment of random proto impact sockets.

They were in the "tool isle" in an un-marked semi translucent bag about 2x3 inches tagged for $7.99.

It has been my experience that other ollies Wil get similar distributions of small volume stuff (maybe they spread deals of low bargains between stores?)

Anyways, both bags hanging on the shelve were torn open making me assume either a shop lifter picked their favorites or combined the bags to trick a cashier into miss-charging a multi-bag.

Since the bags were torn open I examined the contents: one bag had 3 sockets the other had 4. They were stamped "USA" were random sae sizes and were 1/4, 3/8 drive with one 1/2 drive. Most had magnets in them.

anyways hopefully someone is able to find an undisturbed set, or if they are random collections can use the bits.

Thanks. Not that I need any. Just happened to be at Ollie's last week and didn't check the tools. Couple years ago they had select USA Craftsman leftovers, plus that pry bar brand people liked.

Regarding Proto, an unbelievable amount of brand new Proto has shown up at flea markets over the last year or two. Everything from loose sockets to 3/4 drive sets. I thought someone was hitting trucks somewhere. I think they buy it by the pallet with the Vise-Grip and a bunch of other misc. but who knows.

Some years back it was new Armstrong that was going around the flea markets, but obviously those days are done now.

I went back, I couldn't resist buying tools I don't need....

The sku lists 5 piece. My store had a bag of 3 and a bag of 4... I bought both bags and got 6 unique sockets and one double. No idea how these are sold at ollies when not tampered.

The cashier discounted one set based off the 7vs 10 count. disregard the $20 Christmas present dolls...

3 qty 1/4 drive, one 3/8 drive and 3 1/2 drive.

Happy hunting!
