At TIA we give away a ton of stuff and twice a year (Independance Day and Christmas) we give away the "Ultimate Tool Bag" that usually has $2,000 - $2500 worth of stuff. Our readership falls mostly into the Contractor, Maintenance, and DIY demographics. Over the last year or so I've tried to diversify our content by focusing my personal efforts toward bringing manufacturers like Proto, Mac, Blackhawk, Tekton, and Eastwood to the readers. When I got my hands on this impact, I knew GJ was the perfect place for the giveaway.

I don't share all my writings here, but we'd love for everyone to know who we are and drop in every now and then. With this kind of response, we'll definitely have more giveaways in the future

As for the J150WP, it really is a great gun and while I've seen a bunch of members here using them, I haven't seen any negative comments about them. They are the same gun as the Mac AWP050, minus a shroud around the trigger. Our giveaway gun did not come with the protective boot, but the part number on the boot is J150PB and can be found online for like $15. The gun also offers ambidextrous controls and can be fully adjusted with 1 hand.

I'll be the first person to admit that I'm a little biased when it come to Proto, but this gun is the real deal.

As some of you know, I'm an Editor over @ Toolsinaction.com, I am also a Proto junkie.

Over the last year or so we've had several impact threads in which Proto's 1/2" J150WP became a topic of discussion. I've been using this gun since it came out last summer and have never been anything but impressed with it. With 1260 ft.-lbs. of breakaway torque and weighing only 4.6 lbs., it's among the top of it's class in terms of power and power to weight ratio.
