may i ask why you were not happy with the Aircat tools?
Sure. Not to derail this guys thread though.
I had a Nitrocat impact that leaked the mechanism oil out the nose cone after just 3 light uses. Cost me $20 bucks in freight to have repaired under warranty. Dumped it on ebay soon as I got it back. It was a liability.
I have a 3/8 Air drill that the chuck is garbage on, won't even hold an 1/8 bit from day one. I just gave up and use my M12.
I have a right angle die grinder with sticky vanes and a horrendous sounding gear drive, again since day one. When it dies or I get tired of bump starting it, it's headed for the trash can.
In 15 plus years I've worn out the gearing on 1 Mac mini angle die grinder, and had zero issues with what must be a combo of 2 dozen other Snap On, Mac, IR, and CP air tools. Zero. Bassically it's anything but Aircat for me from here out. I'd like to try something from St Louis sometime.
IMO Aircat is way way overhyped based on the 3 tools I bought, and have not been satisfied with. Some people swear by them, but I dunno, mine were all junk.
