I was at the salvage store and they had several of the KP 4240215 female drive ratchets . What is it used for can i get a deal for it to make it into a regular ratchet ?

You can get a repair kit from Proto and turn it into a 3/8 male drive ratchet. Very easy to do. Kits are about $20.

I may do that i gave $8.00 for the ratchet it would steal be a cheap ratchet.
