Proto/P&C click-stop feature - personal experiences??

Hi. I'm about to purchase some Proto adjustable wrenches but I've never even held an adjustable with this feature.

Is the click-stop feature a help or hindrance; does it slow adjustment or limit small adjustments to nominal units/clicks?

Any input is welcome. Thanks.
