Just picked one of these up. Love the knurling and the ratchet mechanism but the detent on the selector switch is very weak. Easily flipped back and forth. Compared to the other quality 1/4” ratchets I own this is the only thing that the Proto loses points on. Is this the way all the Proto 90’s are? Was looking at a 3/8” but wondering if it will be the same. What say you garage journal? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

My 1/4 Proto 90 changes about as easily as my 1/4 Snap-On dual 80. They have a slightly different feel because of the way the holes are made in the patented dual 80. My 3/8 Proto 90 are a bit lighter than my 3/8 Snap-On dual 80. I've never accidentally switched any of them.
