Hi, I am looking to fill some missing sockets from a set that my father gave me. Looking for 1/2" drive 12 point Proto Metric short Sockets:
8mm 5408M
9mm 5409M
10mm 5410M
11mm 5411M
21mm 5421M
25mm 5425M
27mm 5427M
31mm 5431M
Also looking for a couple of Thorsen USA Sockets to complete my Dad's set that he bought for himself back in the late '50s or early 60s. All 1/2" drive 12 point.
7/16" Short (500 series)
5/8" Short (500 Series)
13/16" Deep (Unsure of Series number)
The only other pointer I can give on these is that I want the older ones, it appears that Thorsen made 2 significant moves over the years the first was USA made lower quality steel so they increased the wall thickness and then they off shored them, the 7/16" I am looking for is to replace a thick walled one.
