It's about 140 degrees in the garage so I only glanced at these slide problems. Ball bearing. They've got plastic/rubber stoppers but they don't seem to move to allow drawer removal.

What's the proper way to remove these drawers.

It's got a couple where the drawer slide has come out of the guide and the guide is jutting outwards from the box. Is this fixable or is it permanent damage where I need replacements? Thanks for any help.

Problem is on the main box. Will there be a year or model number stamped anywhere on here?

Both my Proto top & bottom box have these retainer clips on the slides.
So does my side box.
circa early 90’s

After retainer clip is removed the drawer pulls out.
Your slides are a little different but looks like a retainer was also used.
Can you tilt the drawer and remove like a drawer or shelf in a refrigerator to bypass the stop.

Ok, looks like you unscrew the front screw and just lift the drawer out. Duh. On mine, for whatever reason on a few slides, the piece that captures the ball bearings gave way.

Anyone else know if it has a date or model number stamped somewhere?

I wonder if Proto still has these slides, MAC probably sold the same box, right?
