I have 3 proto ratchets that all have the same problem. Stripped in the reverse direction.
Anywhere from a tooth or 2. to won't grip 1/2 way around. I had an identical one branded as a Mac years ago and Mac called or a "spin flex"
I gave that one to the machine guy for a rebuild years ago and never saw it again.
3/8 drive flex head. Orange handle that spins on the shaft when pushed in. Or pull it out about 1/2" and it's solid with the shaft.
Where can I get rebuild kits
PS I haven't seen a Mac truck around here in several years. Seems typical for Mac. They come around and you get comfortable with buying from them for a couple of years then don't see a Mac guy for 7+ years before another one shows up. I've thrown away a lot of money and Mac tools because I ve worn them out and can't get a replacement.

Your ratchets sound like the Big Dawg series of Proto ratchets. They were very short lived & quickly discontinued.
Repair kits are tough to get these days . I have a few miscellaneous parts, but no complete kits.
eBay is pretty much your only option.

The Proto spinflex ratchet used MAC's standard 30 tooth ratchet head. I don't think anyone supports it today. However, you could call Proto customer service at Phone: 1-800-800-TOOL (8665). You could also call MAC Tools' customer service number 1-800-MAC-TOOLS and ask if they have 30 tooth ratchet repair kits available. Ebay might be another option as well. Your Spinflex ratchet isn't a Big Dawg series ratchet.
Good luck in your quest
