Proto tool distributors

I'm ordering two complete sets of rollaways for work. The two roll up to about a $10K order from our companies SnapOn corporate sales rep.

I wanted to get another price to compare from Proto. But I'm finding there is no Proto equivalent to the SnapOn Rep. I called Proto and was told go to one the local distributors, like Fastenal. I called Fastenal, and you talk to a different kind of sales person, someone who basically takes orders. I thought I could blank out the prices, send the list I have to a Proto rep and let them cross reference and quote. But its not that easy. Fastenal want a list first.

Anyone know of a Proto distributor that give the same level of service as a SnapOn account rep? I was surprised that Proto or Mac don't have a Corporate sales team.

Put your zip code in where it says find a distributor and call another place other than Fastenal.

To be fair, $10k in the industrial world is less than a rounding error, so don't expect them to get all excited.

Isn’t there a Lista or Vidmar or something similar quality dealer on here? I’m pretty certain there was one awhile back.

If you are shopping for tool boxes or cabinets, Proto isn't known for its tool boxes. Vidmar would be a better choice for cabinets if you are buying from a Stanley brand.

Napa is supposed to be able to source Proto. Call your local Napa.

For what its worth, the usaf is using proto boxes as well as snap on now
