I made a few additions to my library with these supplements that showed up today from an ebay seller.

The price list is number 5006 and has a note on it saying “approx 10% increase. New price lists on the way in. Jon”
I have always loved when there are little comments like that written in catalogs. The blue supplement is number 4931 and the red one is number 4933.

Ragtop ta was super cool and sent me the uncommon 1429 turret top pecking hammer which is the longest hammer on the board! Now I need to find the 1509 body file and hammer dollies

Smokeshow69 recently alerted me of this nearly complete mfd era metric set that was for sale. It has no skips from 8-17mm and a Proto Professional 6mm. All the sockets seem to have seen very little use

Glad to be an enabler! I just bought something else for the collection so I didn’t jump on these. They look really nice!

I'll say he's dreaming! He notes some chrome loss but can't be bothered to picture both sides of the tools. You'd think that if he expects that kind of money, he'd put forth the effort to try to show they are worth it.

That person listing those at that price is a big time dreamer. While these are specialty refrigeration tools and are quite handy, they are no way worth that. Not saying they are not cool, just not at that price 😂😬

I agree thats what I thought. Some people just think everything they have is worth a million dollars.

A lot of folks are out of touch with reality when it comes to tools… rare or uncommon doesn’t necessarily mean high value or demand for something! They should have looked up sold listings on eBay to see what those are going for.

Those aren't specifically refrigeration tools, they are for flare nuts. Which there are a lot of in HVAC, but there are also a lot in aviation, and anything else that uses hydraulics.

Yes, true… ratcheting flare but wrenches which were quite an invention in their time! I would certainly pick them up if they were priced reasonably and in a cool Proto box

Got my drive tools mfd board today in the mail! It was a week late and tracking didn’t update for a week so I was freaking out a little bit that it had been lost but it worked out well. Got the missing logo replaced and hung it up. It came with this screwdriver board I will probably sell. As you can see I really need a lot of mfd era 1/4 and 3/8 drive tools so if you have some, please let me know. Everything I have is already on the board.

Screwdriver board I may possibly move. The paint is water based kids paint and should wash off. Board covers flat tip, Phillips, clutch head as well as screw starters

Although I don’t have too much Mfd stuff left, I’ll get some pictures for you tomorrow. I’m happy to trade anything I have that you need. Too bad you aren’t keeping the screwdriver board, I still have a bunch of those.

I could add a lot to your screwdriver board, and a little to your mfd. Let me know.

I am very interested in your mfd drive tools! I somewhat want to keep the screwdriver board but need to sell it to offset costs. Plus I already have a Proto la screwdriver board which is my main focus 😉😂.

I am going to try to sell the screwdriver board! Running out of wall room. I am not in your mfd drive tools! Can you shoot me a pm?

Got a few more sockets for my board from c1504 in a trade. We were both able to get each other some things we needed! Love this tool board display. If I ever run out of wall space, I can build one 😂😀😳

This post card just showed up from an ebay seller. It’s not the coolest subject matter for the picture but I think it is fun to think this business card might have belonged to one of these guys
