Proto TorquePlus System - Someone Explain, what is it?

Hey all,

I see this on Proto's sockets and combination wrenches...seems like it has to do with the box ends. Can anyone point me to some literature, video, reviews, etc?

Or just a good explanation of what it is?

It's like advertising a tire as being a "radial". You're damn right it's a radial, we split the atom, being a "radial" tire is a given.
