I love my stubby DBE Craftsman wrenches ! Sadly one has gone missing.

They never made them in metric.

I picked up a couple of those Proto's cheap. I still need to find the 1122 to complete my set. The finish is kind of rough, but they work.

That rust on the Craftsman is just a testament to the high carbon content in their old made in the USA wrenches. :wtf:

I don't think anyone makes better stubby DBE wrenches than SK, especially in metric.

looks like that set is on steals and deals for $50, I probably don't really need them or have space in the box but hard to pass on that deal

might have to get those metric flare nut crowfoots too

That's a crazy good price on those SK short DBEs.

I prefer the deep offsets like the Blackhawk in the photos, or like the short SK DBEs.

Had an argument with a guy once online about terminology with these. I call the simple 15-dgree tilted box ends like you see on combo wrenches as a "standard" offset. Then you have the "deep" offsets like this Blackhawk or the SK. which is like a 'goose neck' offset. Then there's the goose necks that extend down a longer distance that are "extra deep" offsets. The fellow was insisting that the goose neck like the Blackhawk is NOT a deep offset. When I asked what you would call each since the goose neck is significantly different in form and function than the simple tilted box, nothing but crickets.
