Father sold me a set of 10 Proto "Anti slip design" 6 poin combo wrenches he had laying around for 20$. Set covers 7/16 to 1 inch. The Roll and 1/2 wrench are missing at the moment but he said he would try and find them.

Are these wrenches any good? I figured for 20$ I couldn't go wrong either way. How do these wrenches compare to other anti slip wrenches like flank drive? Also where could I source the 1/2 wrench just in case he can't find it?

Are they good? Yeah. Proto is one of the best. You can find the 1/2" at any industrial supplier or even amazon. Just fair warning, you'll probably pay more for the one wrench than you did the set.

don't know about those in particular, but I think it's safe to say many of us consider Proto to be among the best, generally speaking

Protos are excellent tools. The ASD is one of their more recent designs. You can probably order the missing wrench at Graingers.
