looking for some advise between Lincoln or Milwaukee bat operated grease guns

I use an Alemite cordless... Pretty happy with it. I think Lincolns are a bit over rated

I know a guy with a battery Lincoln. Uses it on his backhoe pretty much daily... Friend has a pneumatic Lincoln in his machine shop for all the chucks, steady rests, etc... It too gets used daily. They may be pricy but they seem to be one of the few brands that really holds up to long term use.

i used to work in a mill and those lincoln battery powed ones were awsome to use especially when you have to hit 150 grease zerks. they hold up well, i used the one there for over 2 years with no issues

Had a Lincoln that lasted 2 years and was great. Had to replace it due to wearing it out and in the last year i have gone through 4 of them. I have been told that Lincoln has went cheap on the gearbox in last couple years or so and don't hold up at all. My local oil and lube supply has stopped carrying them due to the mass failure rate and has switched to the Alemite. I am currently using the Alemite and have been really impressed.

I have the M12 version, it's a good tool. Lots of pressure, and the flow is decent. Careful using it on small capacity applications or balloon sealed ball joints and the like, it's possible to blow them out. The M18 version has a control to allow a preset number of "strokes,' very handy.

I use pistol grip manual guns at work. Just reliable and always at the ready. Use a roll around air one on tractors. Have an older lincoln about 5-8 yrs old nicad at home. Haven't charged it in probably 1.5 years. Still going. Use it every few weeks doing service work at home. Been impressed with it but don't think i would blow all that money on another one.

Once you use an alemite, you will never want to use a Lincoln again. Lincolns are so ******** slow and the relief valve is a messy pain in the ***. My alemite is probably seven years old or so and other then having the batteries rebuilt once and a couple of hoses, going strong. I grease at least several skidsteers a day so she has hours on her.
