Pry Bar Sets....

So I have the red handled Craftsman pry bar set, the 3 count model made by Wilde.

I'm interested in getting some additional bars, with metal strike caps. I know the Craftsman Pro models are made by Mayhew, and have these.

Question...I understand that the regular models are now possibly made in Taiwan, but what about the pro model? Still made in the USA by Mayhew?

What about another brand? Should I just get the set straight from Mayhew or go Craftsman Pro?

I believe the Mayhew set uses handles from Taiwan, while the Craftsman Pro is all USA (using the Mayhew bars).

Are their 5pc sets still available? I'm saving for a 5pc Mayhew Dominator set, but the Craftsman ones I would certainly consider...

Hmmmmm, is that worth it?

I picked up the 3pc pro set when it was in the "Hot Deals" thread for $26. Then recently ordered the 10" pro pry bar from Sears. It's available at the moment. I'll get the link in a minute.

Here's the link for the 10". They had the 31" listed on Sears site a few weeks ago and wished I'd grabbed it. They didn't list the 10" at that time, so I'm hoping the 31" comes around again. I keep watching daily.

I bought the craftsman pro set for full price a couple years ago. The striking end is really nice. I just wish it came with a larger bar, I'll probably end up buying a larger snap-on bar and keep using these also.
