So I did a little organizing yesterday and wanted to share my solution to storing pry bars. It's really been bothering me not having a proper place to store my pry bars and having them random in 5 gallon buckets. So I remember having a set of closet tie racks kicking around. They work perfect. All I didn't want bend the top row or hooks and I fit all my pry bars. I hung them on the side of my small bench.

I like your solution to a problem I have have as well. My long Mayhew is simply laying across the top of my craftsman 26" top box, short Mayhew is stored with my screwdrivers. I also have a few others hanging on peg board.

The Gladiator work bench 8 ft power strip set comes with 2 12" metal tool caddies that mount to the ends of the 6ft strip to make the 8 ft length. Used to hold screw drivers, pliers etc. I have a 6ft bench so I did not need the tool caddies. They are great for hanging on the side of your box on the lip to hang your pry bars etc. You can see pictures of this on the net by searching for the 8ft power strip. Not sure if Gladiator sells them separately. I currently have about 6 different pry bars and a tire iron hanging from the side of my Craftsman box using one of these caddies. The tool opening goes completely through so no issue hanging it on the box with a 30" pry bar in the caddy.

Hope this helps

I copied this design from another GJ member who had posted photos of his. I used 2" angle iron with cutouts and mounted using the handle the nutserts (opposite side of where I actually installed the handle) on my HF box. I glued on some rubber automotive window molding/weatherstripping to hold the pry bars in. Works pretty well. The molding has stayed on even in the Arizona summer heat.

The tray is 37.5" above the ground, so can hold my 36" pry bar, which has a shaft length of about 30", so plenty of clearance. It works really well for my 18" and 24" extensions too, which otherwise end up rolling around in some drawer.
