I'm looking for a lip mounted pry bar holder similar to the one below (which is and has been out-of-stock on Amazon). Does anyone know of another manufacturer that sells the same or similar product and where I might be able to locate one?

The lock box model doesn't appeal for my needs and I'm trying to keep my tool storage space to a minimum. Thanks in advance.

I don't know-- no experience with it. I just looked for one that might be lip mounted. I imagine that the holes are there so that it could be mounted somewhere other than a box.

I also wonder about just making one. Maybe some angle iron with some skinny u-channel riveted to the top so that it would hang on the box lip. Then drill holes and bandsaw or hacksaw out the rest of the slots. I might try that.

Thank you! I called Jegs and was told it ships from the manufacturer on 03/20. I placed an order.

I’m honestly surprised nobody else makes on like this. Hang it on the side of your tool chest or cart - seems like a great product that serves a purpose.

I hate bumping an older thread, but I am also currently looking for a prybar holder that does NOT require being physically bolted or screwed to the side of my box.

I'd like to hold long extensions, ratchets and breaker bars as well.

Does anyone else have any additional or newer suggestions?

I was also wonder if anyone out there with a 3d printer has made or could make one?

I just saw these mounts yesterday while looking at longer pry bars.... I ordered a 45" pry bar. I'm glad I bought the 56" wide box now. I can justify the purchase for pry bar storage.

Funny this thread, and this post, bumped this up.

I'm sick of my prybars taking up room in my top drawer. Grabbed some scraps and was making a rack this morning

Yeah those are irritating me lately too

Framing, finish, masonry, engineers, rubber mallet, soft faced. Not sure how I don't have a dead blow....

I really need to get a second box or cabinet and separate out the woodworking tools from the mechanics tools.

i took the one handle off my box side and just got some 1.5 in pvc. cut it in to 3" long pieces and then drilled a large hole for the screw then took a panhead screw and drive it into wood on the inside of the pvc. drilled holes in the 1x4 to line up with the holes for the handle and bolted it onto the box. total cost was like 10 bucks

This one fit my pre-existing holes for the handle. It's really strong and requires some effort to get them off.

Scrap plywood as I was picking up the shop. Once the glue dries I'll give it a cost of paint and get some better bolts.

Swear I have a 4th prybars somewhere

Well, I got lucky. My Snap On pry bars actually fit perfectly just resting on the handle of my US General 42" Series3.

They are too big to slip between the side of the box and the handle. This box is also stationary, not moving around in a shop, so I don't see them somehow falling or needing to use the handle.
