Hey guys, I don't know if there will be any interest in this one either, but how about a pry bar holder? I know a common length of pry bar to be 24-36 inches. A lot of us guys with smaller, more humble, home tool boxes have a drawer width of only about 20 inches or so. A bigger pry bar obviously won't fit. So how about hanging it? Same concept applys to freakin long screwdrivers as well. The slots are so that you can pull the pry bar directly out of the holder and straight to you, rather than holes, which would require you to pull 36" + of pry bar vertically out of the holder, which isn't very easy access, nor is it ergonomical. All dimensions can be adjusted. And if anyone would be interested, I will happily cook one up, take a pic, and if you like, we can hack out a price. I will post one up soon. Stanger is my test driver for this stuff. So I should have one made and pics up within say.. a week and a half? Or if you want one, I'll make one right away for you.

Prototype Drawing (more to follow):

i may be interested if it were to have a short 90 degree angle bent on the edge. a slight lip to lift the handle over but yet hold it on when rolling the cabinet on a slightly rough surfaces. 1/8 would be plenty.

Ok, I think I know what you mean by a "lip". I'll make a change to the drawing, and repost the picture. I also have an idea for a locking method. I'll cook up two more drawings and post them a little later tonight. Not magnetic vette-kid, bolt on. As far as a wider opening to accomodate a breaker bar, no problem. I can build to suit. Just got to give me some specs such as: shank size, handle size, mounting hole sizes, as well as distances between the mounting holes.

Forgot to add, I've sent the tape measure holder to kwhitelaw. I'll see if I can get him to post pics of it in action, as well as a description of how satisfied he is with it...assuming he is satisfied...haha, hope so.

Powder coated? Or painted? I could be interested. What kind of price?

I think he uses stainless. That seems better to me, as once you start painting and powdercoating the price has to go up for the extra material/labor/equipment involved.
