Let me just come over to your house with a tape measure.

How would we know if your stuff will fit in their box?

It seems to me that the OP asked a reasonable question:

"Will this hold the Sears Craftsman Prybar set you can purchase with multiple sizes? "

And, given time, I bet someone that owns the Craftsman Prybar set and the Prybar Holder could provide a useful answer.

I have it with all the red prybars in it but I can't remember if I had to open the holes a bit with a step bit for the 36" bar...I will check though

I've got that holder in black.

I removed the cover, and then had to work with a step-drill a bit to get some of the larger prybars to fit.

I've got both regular Craftsman (red handle) and Craftsman Pro prybars, and I know that I've got a handful of the larger ones that weren't part of the packaged sets, but I'm pretty sure I had to open up the hole for the largest of the Craftsman Pro from the packaged sets.

(And, horror of horrors, I used an HF step drill bit to do it!)

I have both the Sunex box and the Craftsman pry bars with the red handle and strike caps. I did have to in large the holes with a uni-bit to get them to fit.

Here is my Sunex holder mounted on my HF 44" I have two Mayhew pry bars on the end in the larger holes. The pry bars fit in the 6 larger holes but not the smaller holes, so unless you have more then 6 pry bars no need to modify the holder.

Does that bolt to your box or hang on like the side cabinets?

I have a mac large item holder, that I got a restore for 5 dollars being they didn't have a key for it. I don't have as many pry bars as most as I didn't drill out any holes. But I do have some of my longer 1/2 drive extensions in it.

I had the black version of that and my craftsman pry bars fit in it but if I remember correctly I had to use a step drill to enlarge a few holes to get them stored all next to each other. My bars are the black and red ones with striking caps.

I have one on my HF 5 drawer cart. I did have to open up a few holes for the larger pry bars. I do have 4 of the craftsman pro bars in it. it also holds some long screwdrivers , a heel bar some extra long extensions and a 30 inch breaker bar. used a HF step drill bit to open up the holes. very good investment IMO.

How would we know if your stuff will fit in their box?

Looking at the description on the Sears website, there are only overall box dimensions listed, no mention of the distance from the cover to the landing that the tool rests on. Unless you have experience with this box, you would have no way to know what pry bar handle length would fit under the box.

Personally, I'm interested, because my pry bars don't fit under the hood of my Harbor Frieght black service cart because the pry bar handles are tool tall when stored in the built in holders. I either need to modify the box, store them somewhere else, don't close the lid on my cart, or find a bolt on solution such as what the OP posted, which I had was already interested in. So if you have any constructive advise, please share...otherwise why post what you did.

That's exactly my point. I know I can open the holes up but if multiple handles don't fit under the lockable lid.. what's the use?

But there's gotta be someone to.....

Thanks for all the good responses so far.

I can take some measurements tomorrow at work, but I actually never use the lid. Probably should see about removing it, but I work alone, and lock the garage at the end of the day.

I bought it for prybar storage, not "secure" prybar storage.

The larger Craftsman Pro/Mayhew prybars don't fit in the top section with the lid closed.

Not really an issue, like I said, I just pulled the little rod out of the hinge, and removed the lid.

Don't know if this is only for my account for some reason or another, but I just ordered this with free shipping on orders of $30 or more. Instead of the $49 point for free shipping.

I guess it might be worth your while to check if you are in the market for this.

However I did order a pair of Channel Lock needle nose pliers I needed as well as another .99 pencil to get the $10.00 off of $50 on tools that Sears graciously offered.

That makes 2 pencils that I have to make a 40 mile trip to pick up. I wonder how long they will hold a couple of pencils?

Actually my son could use those pencils. The next time my wife and I make a trip to that larger city for a nice dinner I'll swing by to see if the pencils are still available.

Edit: I just got the email and text message that the latest pencil is ready for pickup...

So it appears you are not in the market for it? That's cool.

Perhaps someone else is in the market for it. If so I just wanted to let those people know just in case they still thought it was still $49 for free shipping.

That's cool JoJoSnap.

Fact remains, if anyone else is in the market for the "Sunex Extra Large Locking Screwdriver/Pry Bar Holder" from Sears you may be able to get it for free shipping now. Just in case you want to check it out.
