That Alemite work station is identical to the one I just bought. Well, it was until mine was painted green to go in a Sinclair station.

Wow, just finished looking at all the pics and reviewing the Sale Bill:

http://www.chuppsauction.com/sale bills/2.12.15 sale bill.pdf

Unfortunately, there is so much junk, i.e. real junk that is suitable for going across the scales, it would be hard to justify a whole day there. And it will likely be a whole day. I have been to a couple of those estate type auctions, and it seems like they never get to anything I want until dark.

It is a little over 2 hrs from me, but I don't know that there is anything I want that badly.

At one point in time that was a lot of money sitting there. Kinda sad in a way.

The guy's got THREE International Travelettes? Those are pretty rare. If I was closer, I'd be interested.

I don't think there are necessarily three of them. that was one of the worst photo spreads I've ever seen for a "professional" auction... lots of dupe and groups so you can't tell what the heck is a one off or triplicate...

And a real pro would not run it in the middle of the effing week...

Only one listed in the bill of sale.

And everything must be removed by end of next day? Not very well run.

^ ^ ^ Those extended bumpers done for oversize slide-in camper that went in pickup bed (after taking off tailgate). Old school "hybrid" pickup that served as RV when the camper was in there, and normal pickup with scary-*** bumper hanging out the rest of time !! ;)

Wow, that is a lot of stuff.:eyecrazy: It was fun looking at all those pictures.

Great auction for someone that likes to restore things. Most of it looked a little worse than average in terms of wear, but you sure have a lot to pick from. I liked that small pile of auto body hammers, the anvil, the anvil/vise combo, and a couple other things, but I'm not sure they are worth the 4000 mile round trip for me.:lol_hitti

I attached a picture of a Dodge pickup with the frame rails and rear bumper extended a couple feet beyond the tailgate. I was just curious, but why would you do that? I have never seen that before and I was trying to figure out what purpose it could serve, but I was coming up pretty short on ideas.

Yep, this^^^ except normally they have "U" bolts on the bumper shafts, and you can shorten it to normal position when the oversize camper isn't on board...

When I was a kid, my parents had a 67 International 3/4 or one ton 4X4, and an 11-1/2 ft cab-over camper. :willy_nil

There is a reason I never went that route...
