I have a Gould Century ½ HP permanent-split capacitor (PSC) motor that I am unsure how to properly connect. I used the motor years ago for a project and it worked fine however, when I put it away it appears that I not only mislaid the cover plate but also failed to properly label the leads. There are three leads, which are numbered as follows:
# 1 – Red
# 2 – Black
# 3 – White
How are the leads supposed to be connected in order to make the motor work? Direction is not import at this time.
Any help would be great appreciated!
