Got irritated at having to run back and forth to Advance to rent theirs when I need to get this or that apart on a car and it is cooperating. Does anybody know how these kits hold up? Generally the Gearwrench stuff is ok, but figured I would ask. http://www.tooltopia.com/kd-tools-41690.aspx

Our shop supplies most of the specialty tools and this is the set they have there for the techs, I've used it a handful of times an have absolutely zero complaints, plus I've never heard anybody else gripe about using it either

Just be sure to put a smear of grease on the threads or that Chinesium will gall quickly.

FWIW I've been a professional auto technician for ten years and I've never used any of those except a pitman arm puller and I do mostly steering/suspension and driveline work. Use a balljoint press, hammer and pickle fork attachments for my air hammer mostly.
