Hello from Kansas!

I have a 4 bay 900sqft garage thats about one year old. I'm sick of tracking in concrete dust into our house and wanted a solution. I love the floor tiles, but it's little more than I want to spend for a garage.

Looking into Epoxy or Rust Bullet and a full flake coverage. Anyone running any deals? I know Columbus day is coming up. haha.

What does everyone do about all the stuff in thier garage? I've been thinking about renting a POD and stick everything in that for a few days

Also if you have any saw cuts or natural pour breaks you can do the garage in sections, instead of renting a pod. Many of our clients do their floors that way with excellent results.

Don't rent a pod. Rent a U-haul box truck. Roughly $20.00 per day and you will have very little mileage. It's a steal!!

No prep? A fools gamble. Better to save your money and do nothing.

Prep doesn't scare me. Easy stuff.

 

[Garage Flooring]

If you are going to do an epoxy system prep is a MUST. Flakes are a huge part of full broadcast system cost as is additional urethane. Going to random broadcast reduces costs in a major way.

Rust Bullet does not generally require grinding or etching. There are exceptions. Tons of GJ forum members and others have installed it exactly that way. The only adhesion issue we have seen is on a power troweled floor with an unknown sealer.
