I don't have any info on it at the moment, just the picture below. Any idea what the model or specs might be? Is it worth $200? Even if it works, should it be serviced?

If it is like mine, a 3450 rpm 5-hp drives the 2-stage pump at about 860 rpm. Rated flow is 14 cfm at 90 psi.

Serviceable items include air filters and belt. Inspect, clean and change oil.

It would be a nice buy at $200!

don't think it's 2 stage. It has two air filters >> single stage. If true, I would guess 3hp , 11-ish cfm@90psi.
I guess it retailed for $550 ~ $750. Worth every bit of $200 -gladly - as long as you hear it run and it doesn't knock. Even if it does, you can get a nice replacement pump for $175.

By the way, where did you say it was at???

I've got that same compressor...bought mine new 5 years ago, been a great Compressor. I'd give 200 for that any day assuming it works.

I am sad to report that by the time I got to it, it had sold.

Maybe next time. I've only been looking for a "deal" on a decent quality 30gal+ vertical compressor for a few months now. It's slim pickin' out here in PA.
