PUMA Air Compressor Mystery - HELP!

I recently purchased this used air compressor (see photos). Unfortunately, I am not exactly sure what I received. This is my first air compressor and I was hoping to download an owners manual / find additional information regarding the unit.

The problem is the compressor has no model # / serial # markings.

I contacted PUMA via the internet overseas and sent these photos. They claim it is not theirs and is a copy. I am not sure if this means it is a US copy, or a copy from another country. Any assistance identifying this unit would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you need a book for it?

Looks like a run of the mill oil less compressor to me. Plug it in and use it.

It looks like the various accessories I can purchase for an air compressor are based on the size and specifications of the unit. I am less interested in an owners manual as I am making sure I order the correct attachments.

What accessories are you talking about??

It looks to be a 30-40 gal or so compressor.

Anything off the shelf will work.

I recently got a Frankenpresser- (A Campbell Hausfeld tank and a Jenny motor and pump) put together so poorly it didn't even work (Came along with a bunch of tools I bought).

Anyway, the only way I figured out that it was a Jenny was by using a part number off the fan cover; there were no other identifying marks on it. I did a search online and found that it matched a certain Jenny Motor.

Perhaps you could take off the plastic piece and look for a part number on something and call Puma, or check online for what it goes to.

Just a suggestion.

I have never seen a Puma compressor with that pump arrangement. "Blacknwhitepit"may be correct --- a Puma tank and carriage, and a generic replacement pump and motor

Definitely an oil-FILLED unit, not oilless.

Maybe somebody slapped a chinese compressor setup on an old Puma tank. Who knows. Change the oil (use air compressor pump oil) and run it until it won't run anymore.
