Anyone here know much about them?

Outside of being made here in the states their horizontal 20 gallon model, PK-5020 seems to meet every need I have/want.

Dual Voltage
20 gallon horizontal
bigger tires (not a huge deal but will help when dragging through the grass i spose)

Just wonder if anyone has used them.. I can get one at the local farm store for 419 + tax.. might see what they'd do for a cash sale.

I have one from back in the day "builders Square" yeah, thats a name we havent heard in awhile. I dont remember my model #...mines a 20 gal 6.5cfm @90psi. I have used it for years with minimal problems. The only real problem I have had is the pressue cutoff swithch. The nut loosens over time due to vibrations and adjusts the cutoff. Other than that I am happy. They are also sold by Northerntool.com

I have a 7.5 hp 3 cylinder unit. The pump is not US, I believe Tiawanese. The tank is US, the motor is a Baldor, and the controls were Square D made in Mexico. Very pleased with unit. It is assembled in the US.

I have been very happy with it. I have a post on here somewhere, search Puma. I ordered it from Tool Central and was very pleased with the transaction http://www.tool-central.com/ecommerce.php/mode/view/cat/6

I just bought the PK5040V last weekend. Kind of a rare as I could not find very much info on GJ or the web about the 40 gal. What I was told they may be sold off the back of tool trucks. I don't know for sure, but that is where mine supposedly came from. The motor and pump are the same as the PK5020V. This thing is quite and for that alone I'm grateful. I could not find any bad issues listed for the Puma on line. I wish I had more experience with mine to offer, but so far so good.
