I'm trying to decide between two compressor to restore a car, sanding and painting, Puma seems to have compressors with good reviews at good prices.
The two I'm looking at are the 5HP 60 gallon single stage, PK6560V http://www.aircompressorsdirect.com/Puma-PK6560V-Air-Compressor/p592.html and 5HP 40 gallon two stage, TE-5040V http://www.aircompressorsdirect.com/Images/Puma-TE-5040V-Air-Compressor/i13941.html. Would the two stage with the 40 gallon tank keep up the same as the single stage 60 gallon tank.

This thread had some good info in it... :)

As stated, if you look at the specs tab the 60 gallon has more CFM.

Like I answered in your other thread I linked, it depends what you are doing. Running short burst air tools or low CFM tools, it won't matter. Fire up something that likes air like a sand blaster, blast cabinet, or many sanders, and it will make a huge difference.
