Puma PK6060V Air Compressor Info Needed (Harbor Freight vs. Others)

I'm considering the purchase of the Puma PK6060V air compressor.

HF may have the same exact unit that other higher priced retailers have. However, the pump looks different in the photo that I've seen on other sites. HF has the better price, and I may not have to pay for the shipping (or atleast I might be able to get a good deal if I pickup at their warehouse).

For those that have the black pump:
What is the manufacturer and model number?
What is the mfr/model of the motor?
Any other differences I should know about?

If it is the same unit as the higher priced retailers, I have no problems purchasing from HF.

Be very carefull w/ puma. I don't want to throw any one under the bus but I have had trouble getting the misc. parts I need from time to time... If I had it to do over again I'd say go with something a little higher price and mainstream. I do like my compessor but the occasional repair is frustrating to say the least. I have no idea of your budget, but stretch it as far as you can you do get what you pay for.

The issue of parts availability and service is very good advice. However, I wonder if getting parts is that difficult via Internet?

Was the difficulty locally, or Internet, or both?

My choice logic has been narrowed down by:
Ingersoll-Rand
Campbell Hausfeld
Puma
Chicago Pneumatic
Powermate

For about $250 less than IR and CP, I can get the Puma from HF.
For about $20 more, I can get better specs and a V pump than CH or Coleman Powermate.

So sticking with a $400 range, the choice is CH or Powermate or Puma. Not sure if $250 buys me a lot more.
