Pump ID

I found this thread on pump at a secondhand store for $2.00. It makes and holds a pretty strong vacuum. The top brass fitting looks like a tubing hook up and under the cap is a needle. So does it thread onto a bottle or vessel? I'm not sure.

I looked up the patent #s and found it to be called a sample pump. Now I need to find a bottle. Ok it threaded on a standard washer fluid bottle, this thing is going to be handy after I get some tubing.
