Purchased large snap-on collection. Please help

Hey everyone. I’m hoping some of you can help me identify some of these vintage sets that I just purchased. I purchased a massive collection and this was the first thing that I found, couldn’t find a lot of info online. Most of these have 7- written on them. I’m guessing they are old. I have a ton more to go through, most of them are newer. Just trying to figure out if they are worth keeping or selling as a package. I am not much a collector of the old stuff, not sure what they are worth or even make sense to keep. A friend wants to buy them but Im not sure what to even ask for them. I have a bunch more like this, just trying to get an idea. I appreciate any feedback y’all can help with. Thank you.

You will need to provide us with clearer, larger photo images of those items - hopefully showing part numbers - in order that those of us who are going blind in our old age can identify them.

(* alternatively, there is always the option of simply pulling a number out of the sky, crossing your fingers, and selling the entire lot as a package deal. )

Not trying to sell. Just trying to get information on what I have. Rarity, age, value. Just general info that I couldn’t find online. Thanks

Thank you. I will get some more pics soon. Only thing they have written on them is 7- and snap-on I know they typically have a part number.

I think that the ratchet is pre 1929 because Snap-On moved their factory to Kenosha in 1929. Marked Milwaukee makes that old!

You may get a general idea of what stuff brings researching on fleabay.
I've noticed people are paying stupid $$ on Hi-bid auctions for some rougher Snap-on stuff that in my opinion is bringing more than it should or would fetch otherwise like in person or like on Craiglist. If I were going to unload some stuff I would find a good auctioneer that would be willing to put some work into earning their commision by putting some effort into promoting the sale with an extended lead time of at least a month and a half of viewing and open bidding with plenty of quality pictures and a decent description of the items. They would also have to offer decent shipping.
I tried selling a few brand new Snap-On items here on GJ but in my experience it was just a bunch of low balling and tire kicking. YMMV

"7" was the model number of the ratchet. Apparently first introduced 1925. Later versions had patent applied for stamped in addition to Milwaukee. May have significant value to right collector. Good luck.

There's literally a "7" 1927 date code on that ratchet as well as the sockets.

OK so there you have it. All I said was it was apparently first introduced in 1925 and that "7" was the model number of the ratchet.

My No. 7 ratchet was made in 1929, 1930 or 1931 depending on which date code you prefer.
