Years ago I was gifted a cool Pure Oil lighted sign from a friend who worked for Pure Oil, as did his father before him. He passed about 10 years ago, RIP Paul. Since then I've collected Pure Oil whenever I find it.

This brand is rather scarce, so I made my own sign, which we installed today on one of my garages. "Be sure with Pure." I'm no Don Long, but I sure tried.

This was an old masonite sign, that I stripped, primed and painted to look vintage. The 24" decal is vintage. Another friend is a sign maker. He used his computer program to print the vinyl letters.

When may I make an appointment to have the oil and filter changed in my 1962 Chevrolet? I also note that you feature Penzoil, however, I would like my oil to be Pure! Do you use Pure oil and air filters? thanks, and by the way do you give green stamps with oil changes?
I really appreciate your attention to detail to make everything look authentic. Now, about that oil change, can I wait or is it an all-day affair?

Come on by Junkman. I'll tell Goober that you are coming! BTW, I've spent some time in the southern part of your beautiful state. My company had facilities in Bridgeport, Darien, Norwalk, Fairfield and Milford. Also loved Greenwich!
