I added some padding to the gas and A/C lines, it's the same padding you use for basketball poles. I had one piece left over so I wrapped one of the support poles that our rear doors would hit.

Not a glamorous job, but an important one. I'm not used to seeing so much ducting in a garage. Was there some aspect of your home's construction that resulted in the various lines being run along the ceiling as opposed to being buried in them?

PS...what do you think of the newly designed XC90? Pretty flashy imho.

There is no way to run the duct work any other way because of the way the joists run in the ceiling. Two of the duct lines are completely hidden because they run with the joists, but impossible for the other 4 lines. I'm insulating and hook up all the duct lines this weekend. In the future when my furnace needs to be replaced I will make a 2nd Zone in the attic for the upstairs and then I can eliminate all the ductwork in the garage; but you don't fix what's not broken, especially a costly one as new furnace, coil, and condenser, lol! That would have blown the whole budge for the garage and it was just cheaper to buy new furnace pipe and insulation.

I really like the new XC90 and it's wonderful to drive. My wife really wanted one but there weren't many available at dealers that weren't pre-orders; plus no real incentives available. Next vehicle for her!

Finished the light in the back of the garage and added the rest of the outlets. Since that was all complete I decided to take some time to do my winter detail prep.

Been a while since I updated this project thread, but I have finally finished insulating all the HVAC lines in the garage and did some decorating of the space; window blinds are in and should be installed soon.

Duct work all wrapped:

Some Swedish Goodies for the walls (still have some classic Volvo Hubcaps to clean up and hang on the wall)
